What to when you have low libido

Hi {{first_name}},

Last week I was featured on The Lovers and Friends Podcast with Shan Boodram, following her powerful interview with Tamsen Fadal about menopause and libido.

We talked honestly about how low libido shows up for many women -even in our 30s and 40s -and how to know whether it’s a natural chapter or a signal that something’s off.

I shared some of the key lifestyle factors that protect your libido and energy -especially when the cause isn’t hormonal. Things like stress, sleep, nutrition, and even mental load play a bigger role than most people think.

(I shared some simple shifts that make a real difference.)

One important takeaway?
If you’re ever going to bring up libido or any sensitive concern with your doctor -make it the reason for the visit. Don’t wait until the last 3 minutes of your appointment! You deserve time, attention, and thoughtful answers.

And if the topic of perimenopause has ever crossed your mind…

I’m working on something to help women prepare their bodies before the slowdown begins -through strength, knowledge, and preventative tools.

👇 I’d love to know where you’re at right now:

Click here if you're curious about perimenopause and want to proactively prepare your body, habits, and hormones.

Click here if you’re in the thick of motherhood, feeling stretched thin -and not quite thinking about perimenopause just yet.

Your click helps me shape future content and resources you actually want.

With you in every season,
Dr. Leen

You don't need a revolution. You need a one-degree shift.
I used to think that to change my life, I needed to make a massive change. Quit my job.Move to another country.Burn it all down. But that's not true. The most profound changes come from small, consistent, one-degree shifts. Reading for 15 minutes a day. Saying no to one thing a week. Going for a 10-minute walk. These small shifts, over time, will change your entire trajectory. What's one small ...
My life, my rules.
Hi {{ first_name | default: "there" }}, I used to live by everyone else's rules. Then I wrote my own. I created a sovereignty statement. It's a declaration of how I choose to live my life. It's my personal constitution. It reminds me that I am the architect of my life. And I get to make the rules. What's one rule you want to live by? To your evolution, Dr. Leen
Where did the joy go?
I used to be so focused on achieving my goals that I forgot to enjoy my life. I was all work and no play. And I was miserable. So I did a joy inventory. I made a list of all the things that brought me joy. Then I started scheduling them into my week. Reading for fun. Dancing. Calling a friend. It brought me back to life. What's one thing that used to bring you joy that you've stopped doing? Wit...
